During our journey online over the past four years we have come to learn a lot about the marketers online.
There are some marketers who are honest and whom I respect and trust. Then there are others whose main aim seems to be just to make money online regardless of who gets hurt or scammed along the way.
Back in January of 2010 we purchased a training program from Jeff Schwerdt (also known as “Herschy”). Within about two weeks of this purchase, we received a phone call from America and were asked how we were going with the Cash Flow Funnel training that we had purchased from Jeff Schwerdt.
We said we were going fine and beginning the training. The person on the phone began to tell us how they could help us out so that we could easily make over a $1,000 a month within a very short time.
At this point in time we should have googled “ADM Mentoring” to see what others were saying, but we listened the salesman on the phone and trusted him. He initially tried to see us a $10,000 package of coaching calls, but my husband and I knew that there was no way that we could borrow this kind of money.
So the salesperson came down to $5,000 and we trusted what he said and went into debt and borrowed this money.
After the first coaching call we realized that this program was not for us and definitely not worth the $5,000 that we had borrowed and paid. So we paid for a registered letter to go to the address given to us by ADM Ventures to say that we wanted a refund. The letter was sent within given period and so a refund should have been given.
We made the mistake however; of accepting another coaching call after we had posted the letter and hence when the letter was received Edward Sayers told us that we were not eligible for the refund.
So our time with ADM Ventures and ADM Mentoring did not begin well. We tried everything that we could, even contacting Jeff Schwerdt and asking for his assistance. We thought that since it was Jeff’s program that had initially got us in contact with ADM Mentoring that he may have been willing to help us get our refund, but Jeff would not help us. He would have received an affiliate commission for having us sign up for the coaching calls and I guess that was all that he cared about at that time.
So we were then assigned another coach. Over the coming 10 months we made about $1 online from adsense (which we still have received as we have not reached the threshold to be paid by adsense).
Then about 10 months into the 12-month coaching we found out suddenly, without any warning, that our coach was no longer working for ADM and so we were left to wonder what would happen.
After a little time, we were given a new coach. He continued on where the other coach left off.
At the end of the twelve months period Edward Sayers accepted us into the additional 12 months coaching, since we had not made back our initial investment of $5k, as we were originally promised.
This was going well. We followed the instructions given by this new coach and completed every task that we were given.
Then the coach and I decided to go in a slightly different direction with the website. So we left a task un-ticked in our basecamp to-do-list.
Without warning, we received an email from Edward Sayers telling us “you have failed to perform the requirements of the guarantee”. We contacted Edward immediately, but were told that there was no way to get back into the program.
So basically we were thrown out of the program for changing our strategy with our website, in agreement with our coach. We contacted out coach and he was in shock. He had not been notified of this at all!
He heard after Edward threw us out of the program and even though he explained the situation to Edward, we were still not allowed to continue for the remaining 10 months to recover our investment.
So I write this post on my blog to warn others! Be careful online! There are those who would seek your money and not care about what it really costs you!
You can read of others who were scammed and let down by ADM Mentoring. They also change their business name so that more people are tricked into giving them their hard-earned money. So use more care and diligence than my husband and I did!
Be careful! Learn from our mistakes!
Over the coming weeks I want to share with you some of the marketers that I have learned from and that I trust and respect as being honest and having integrity!
Just as there are those who would seek to take all they can from you, there are also those with Integrity who seek to Bless, Empower and Help others to succeed online!
We truly wish you both Every Success online and in Every area of your Life!
